Abstract

As horizontally deficient anterior maxillary area is not uncommon situation, to place the implant in this area properly needs additional augmentation procedures to enhance the volume of alveolar ridge. Of the several procedures, ridge splitting technique makes self-space-making defect to achieve better bone regeneration, and guided bone regeneration technique has well-documented evidences to augment the atrophic alveolar ridge efficiently. The aim of this study was to report a case of implantation in the horizontally deficient anterior maxillary area with ridge splitting technique and guided bone regeneration.
